This is one of NME's Double page spreads. As we can see it is for Mark Ronson. The background of the double page spread is white which makes all the dark font and headers stand out. The image is effective because it is on the left hand side of the double page spread and would be the first thing the reader would see, which would make them wonder why he is smashing a trumpet. Under the main title we have a quote commenting on Mark Ronson and we even have some anchorage text within the main article. the uses of dark colours could emphasize mark Ronson's music genre.
