This edition of Q magazine features Ed Sheeran as the main cover star.

Main cover image: the main cover images shows Ed sitting with his guitar looking away from the audience He is not making eye contact. The black jacket he is wearing connotes his level of professionalism in music. it give him a serious look and implies how serious his music is. Sheeran is in the centre of the page and is covering the masthead a little. this shows how important he is and that he is the main focus of the magazine.

Colour scheme: The colour scheme follows the primary colours of Q magazine. As we can see red is a very dominant colour throughout the cover. it is usually integrated with white and black which can also be seen too. These colours work well together and are the usual colours of Q magazine.

Layout: The layout uses quite a few cover lines. The main cover line is situated within the centre of the page. the cover lines are on both sides of the cover page, there are more on the left hand side of the page. It is quite basic.
